PADI Advance Open Water course
Complete any three adventure dives and you earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification.
When you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and 3 other Adventure Dives for a total of five, you earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
Why Advanced Open Water Diver?
After your five dives, you’ll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment. Also you will be licenced to dive to 30m (or 21m for Jnr Advanced Open Water).
What do I need to start?
You need to have a PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization). The minimum age is 15 year of age (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver).
What will I do?
The Advanced Open Water Diver is made up of five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three other Adventure dives. The most popular elective dives are Search and Recovery, Night, Altitude and Wreck. Or you can chose from the following: Boat Diver, Drift Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, AWARE Fish Identification & many more!
How long will it take?
The course can be completed in as little as 2 days during one weekend, or the dives can be spread out over a number of weeks. We are happy to set a schedule that fits in with your availability.
What does the course include?
Your Adventures in Diving Ultimate Crew pack, air fills, certification fees, use of scuba gear if you don’t have your own.
Where can I go from here?
PADI Advanced Open Water Divers can enroll in PADI Wreck, Deep Diver or other Specialty courses and continue onto the PADI Rescue Diver Course. PADI Adventure Dives can also credit towards the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver certifications.
